This type of shot shows a character from the waist up, often used in interviews or dialogue scenes.
What is a medium shot?

What is the camera body?
The most basic cut between two clips, simply removing one clip and replacing it with another.

This pre-production process involves creating a visual representation of each shot, outlining the sequence of events and camera angles before filming begins.

This shot captures the entire subject in their environment, often used to establish the setting.
What is a wide shot?
This camera movement follows the subject, often creating a smooth, gliding effect.
What is tracking/trucking?
This part allows you to see what you’re filming through the camera, either electronically or optically.
