Ask a parent or an older sibling to help you.  You shouldn't just leave it blank.  At least give it a try.  I should also complete homework in pencil in case I need to erase any mistake.

You should have able to complete 4 units in 15-20 minutes.

Why is it important to be silent in the hallway?

So we are not distracting others from learning in other classrooms or those working in the hallway with tutors.

I should pick them it up because we alls hare the classroom, and it is kind to be helpful, even if it's not ours.

I should get my book and find my reading spot right away.  I should be reading and keeping my eyes in the book the whole time.  My reading spot should be an arm span away from others, if I am not in my desk.

Before/after specials, before/after lunch, after read aloud

Why can I slide on the hill at recess or throw snow at my friend?

Sliding down the hill could be dangerous and we may slip at fall.  Throwing snow might have ice in it and could hurt someone or make them mad.  We have to have different rules than you have at home.

Why is important to participate in the Morning Choice that I chose rather than sitting at my desk or joining another activity?

It teaches you to work with others, how to get along, gives you the opportunity to try something different

It reinforces what we are learning in the classroom, teaches you responsibility, prepares you for middle school

You should help keep OUR school clean and help by picking it up and throwing it away.
