No. For a position working with children, applicants with a record are not encouraged to apply for the YDP role because it is anticipated that the fingerprint results will be flagged. All applicants must produce a clean fingerprint clearance through the FBI and DOJ.

All employees can EXPECT a time off request to be either approved or denied if their supervisor is given less than 14 days' notice. Always have a conversation with your supervisor to learn more about the next steps. #transparency
When composing a coaching form or a write up, what is a solid benefit for adding a follow-up date when discussing next steps?
A follow-up date gives an opportunity to revisit behaviors that needs to be corrected, as well as give positive reinforcement or constructive feedback on any progress or shortcomings.

What is the ideal attendance rate for YDPs?

Ideally, we want 100% attendance because the job is only 4-5 hour a day. However, we strive for a 95% attendance rate.
5 days a week x 4 weeks per month - 1 sick day = 19/20 = 95% attendance
