No. For a position working with children, applicants with a record are not encouraged to apply for the YDP role because it is anticipated that the fingerprint results will be flagged. All applicants must produce a clean fingerprint clearance through the FBI and DOJ.

A follow-up date gives an opportunity to revisit behaviors that needs to be corrected, as well as give positive reinforcement or constructive feedback on any progress or shortcomings.

Yes, anyone without a record is ELIGIBLE to apply. It is up to the company (recruiter) to ask the pertinent question(s) about commute in order to determine if a candidate is a good fit for the company. Please note that it is illegal to discriminate against someone based on where they live.
