Control / your own plan
You don't need music to praise God. Name one other way someone could praise Him.
Open answer — prayer, dancing, writing, serving, etc.
If you sin and feel bad but keep doing it anyway, this is what you have not actually done yet.
Repented
According to Philippians 4:6, you should bring your requests to God with this alongside your asking.
Thanksgiving
This is what yielding looks like in everyday life — not just in a crisis but in a small decision you face this week.
Open answer
Paul and Silas were in prison, beaten and chained, and instead of only crying out for rescue they did this.
Prayed and sang hymns / worshipped
