If a producer is licensed in multiple states, can they sell in all of them?
Producers can only sell in the states that have been added to their portfolio with UnitedHealth Group by their Upline/MGM. Requests to add a state must come from the Upline/MGM. Agents cannot be appointed in states that their upline is not appointed in and should be communicating with them prior to requesting the appointment.

f the license has lapsed in a non-JIT state the agent will need to submit a request to be re-appointed in the state via an Add State Request through their upline. This is for both resident and non-resident states. If the license that lapsed is a JIT state then an SR will need to be created and escalated to Contracting Tier 2 in order to manually re-appoint the agent in the JIT state, assuming they have a Book of Business in the state. ALM no longer automatically reappoints agents if the license lapses.

How does an agent go from a Direct to UHC agent to an EDC agent (with upline)?
The Direct to UHC agent would work with their desired upline to complete and submit all new contracting paperwork. Once the paperwork is received then ALM will work with the MGM to obtain a release.
I can't believe you took out fees for states my upline requested - when can I expect a refund since I told them to cancel them?
