What is reinforcement? Even looking can be reinforcing.
Your client requests ice cream, then runs out of the room toward the kitchen.
What is tangible?
You deliver the SD, immediately provide the answer, the client copies you, then you reinforce their response.
What is most-to-least prompting?
Do or Don't: Improvise client programs.
What is please do not? Instead: make sure you review your client's programs and BIPs at the beginning of each session.
True or False: Giving your client options during transitions or for activities is a type of informal preference assessment.
What is true? Depending on the number of options, it could range from a free-operant to even a multiple stimulus with/out replacement informal preference assessment.

What is punishment? Providing escape/delay contingent on communication decreases the likelihood of tantrums in the future.

What is automatic?
Allowing the client to perform independently with the first step and providing prompts if needed, then immediately prompting the remainder of steps in a task analysis.

What is true? BCBAs use ABC data as part of a Functional Behavior Assessment - they cannot write a prescription treatment/intervention unless they know what to target.

Your client is playing with peers in gym when a peer starts to tantrum by yelling and crying --> Client covers his ears with his hands --> You lead your client out of the gym
What is reinforcement? The behavior of covering his ears with his hands is more likely to occur in the future when aversive sounds occur as opposed to pointing or requests to leave the area.
Your client is playing alone with building blocks. You approach the activity and start playing with them when they begin to scream and hold out their hand toward the pieces you're holding. You give them the pieces and walk away, then they put the pieces down and screaming stops.
What is escape and tangible?
Mands, Tacts, Echoics, Intraverbal, etc.
What are examples of verbal behavior?
Do or Don't: Select domains in your SOAP notes that you naturally implemented but aren't part of the session.
What is please do not? Instead: only select domains that are from the session.
True or False: It's okay to leave your session to help another RBT.
What is false? Leadership will respond accordingly.
Bx = Waiting
Your client requests a turn with the swing --> They're told to wait --> Your client eventually gets a turn with the swing.
What is reinforcing? Although they used FCT, it is waiting that results in access to the tangible.
