How does HEATFS work?
An electric signal is sent to the rear of the round after contact on the target, where it will set off a preset fuse that then detonates the explosive, hitting a copper liner that melts and bends into a penetrating jet, sending it flying into the target at high speeds. It has more penetrating potential than APFSDS at the lack of range, as the jet can only go so far.
