Late Add Petition
Students use this form to request permission to enroll in more than 19.5 credits in a Fall/Spring semester, more than 8 credits in one of the two Summer sessions, or more than 4.5 credits in a Winter session.

Three consecutive semesters during which a student's cumulative GPA was below 2.00 will result in this, unless the student has achieved a 2.00 or higher semester GPA for the most recent semester.

This petition is used by students who want an exception to GEP or University requirements.
Graduation Requirement Petition
Students use this to declare, change, or update the major(s), minor(s) and certificate(s) they are completing at UMBC.

A student who has been academically suspended from UMBC must do these things in order to return to UMBC
Take 12+ credits at another institution and earn a 2.5+ GPA, then apply for reinstatement

This petition is used by students who want to change to S/U grading after the deadline
