What is Level 2?
This is the responsibility of faculty, staff and students.

The person in this position is responsible for implementing academic integrity policy and procedures on behalf of the School or College with support from the Academic Integrity Office.

This person conducts an interview with the student suspected of a Violation of the Academic Integrity Policy as part of the official case process and record.

This must take place when a student has a prior violation.
What is a hearing?
Forging a document to add or drop a course is an example of this level of violation.
What is Level 2?
This individual may recommend a classification level, but is not required to do so.
What is the reporting instructor?
A School or College will need this type of panel member to interview students reported to have violated the Policy.
What is the faculty panel member?
This is required when a student admits a violation initially classified as a Level 2 but requests that it be downgraded by the School or College from Level 2 to Level 1.
What is a written review panel?
Faculty must include a statement in their syllabus if they wish to apply this grade penalty for a Level 1 violation.
What is course failure?
This individual must successfully complete an Academic Integrity Seminar.
What is a student found in violation of the Academic Integrity Policy?
Students are not allowed to do this while a suspected violation is under review, except in extraordinary circumstances.
What is drop or withdraw from a course?
Every Academic Integrity Panel must have one member who will never review or decide a case.
What is the Academic Integrity Advisor?
To help ensure that all students have their case considered by an impartial academic integrity panel, two of these persons must be present at a hearing.
What is panel members from outside the School or College where the suspected violation occurred?
Students may request this if they believe that failure to follow Academic Integrity procedures substantially altered the outcome of their case.

This is typically the minimum sanction when a student has a repeat violation.

When a suspected violation involves more than two students or similar patterns of behavior by more than two students, the violation may be labeled as this.
