When is an appropriate time to be on your cell phone?
Break and Lunch, Unless given permission otherwise.
Am I allowed to hit my vape in the building?
NO ABSOLUTLEY NOT. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES.
What time should I be in the building by?
7:45 no later, unless notified Helen.
Is everyone allowed priviliges?
No, but yes. If you earn them you are more than welcome to use them. Priviliges are earned it is not a right.
Am I allowed to go see my friends at the highschool when we get out?
No, we cannot protect you from the punishments the high school gives out.
If someone calls you while you are in class, Do you pick it up immediately?
No, you ask permission to step out of the class and take the call. If told no, decline it and call them back on your own time.
NO you will be asked to leave.
If I wake up late do I stay home?
No, you message Helen letting her know you will be arriving late.
Do I still receive privileges if I do not show up on time?
No you will lose it for that day, if it contintues the whole week.
Why are cell phones limited?
All of our work is done in class and during class discusions, being on your phone cause you to not pay attention. Research tells us that our phones interrupt our attention spans and takes us away from our work.
NO ABSOULETY NOT, the police will be called and you will be asked to leave the school. You may be put up for expulsion.
Why is attendance so important at BCOPE?
We do not receive homework the work you missed you will struggle to make up. Also our attendance is half our grade.
How do I keep my priviliges?

Why do we have priviliges?
To teach you responsibility and you have to earn things in live.

Speak to one of the 4 trusted adults or the SRO.
What if I need a little extra help getting to school in the morning?
How do driving priviliges work?
If you have a license and your 9 months are complete you are welcome to drive with people. You will still lose priviliges if driving illegally or being unsafe.
