CASAS Post-Test (Math or Reading)
This is one of the most common ways people communicate in school and at work.
These two subjects are tested during the CASAS test.
Math and Reading
If you know you are going to miss class, you should do this before or as soon as possible.
Communicate with your instructor or advisor
On the first day, we made noises with our hands to demonstrate that having one of these helps guide our actions and leads to better outcomes.
HAVE A PLAN
This test can be taken at almost any time, as long as it is not the last test you complete.
Civics test
This part of an email tells the reader what the email is about.
Subject line
These required tests are about half the length of the final exam and can be taken as many times as needed until you pass.
Official Practice Tests (OPTs)
Participation can look like a lot of things in the classroom. Give examples of classroom participation
Asking questions, contributing to discussions, and participating in classroom activities, taking notes, nodding, and making eye contact
This part of a SMART goal answers questions like what you want to accomplish and why it matters.
Specific
If you miss more than this many classes, you may be dropped from the class and have to retake it next session.
5 absences
The body of an email should include what information?
Explain why you are writing, important details, and any questions or requests.
Of all the HiSET final exams, this subject takes the longest to complete.
Writing (2 hours)
List three important things you will find in a syllabus.
Examples: Instructor contact information, course content information, class times and location, etc.
Smaller goals that help you work toward a larger, long-term goal are called these.
Stepping stone goals
You must pass this test before you can take its matching HiSET final.
OPT (Official Practice Test)
This skill includes taking responsibility for your actions, asking for help when needed, honoring your commitments, and following through on your plan.

The Learning Center
Understanding your needs, communicating your strengths and challenges, and taking action are all examples of this important skill.
Self-Advocacy
This SMART goal component helps you make sure your goal is achievable.
Realistic
Before taking your last HiSET final exam, you must complete and pass these two HiSET subject finals.

List two things TRIO can help you with.
