This Post War Conference split up Germany in twain (in two). One with Western influence, and the other with Soviet influence.
Yalta Conference - 2/4-11/1945
The Allies used this strategy in order to make quick work within the Pacific. By capturing one island with a heavy force, they were able to concentrate their attacks in quick succession.
The bombing of this place in the pacific is what got the U.S. involved in the war.
Pearl Harbor - December 7, 1941
These trials brought many Nazis to justice.
