What is FALSE: For the purposes of admission, a transfer student is defined as any student who has earned college-level credit from an accredited degree-granting institution after graduating from high school. Embry-Riddle considers each application for transfer admission individually, reviewing the student’s academic record, grades received in all college-level courses and the rigor of the student’s academic program. College courses completed as dual enrollment while concurrently enrolled in high school do not qualify applicants as transfer students.

Applicants that wish to be considered for an upcoming cohort with an estimated separation date (ETS/EAS) beyond the Cohort End +90 Day Employable Cutoff, but who anticipate earlier release (terminal leave, for example) within 90 days of the desired cohort end date, must provide written approval from their commander and/or CSP office. Please note that branch-specific requirements vary. Approvals can be uploaded using the secure upload link.

Campuses must submit a waiver request for returning UG students who need to repeat a degree required course after this many attempts, and still need to take it to complete their degree.
