After trials, the Lord promised this for His people.
Verse 13: What is your redemption, and the redemption of your brethren, even their restoration to the land of Zion, to be established, no more to be thrown down?
President Dallin H. Oaks taught that we are blessed for these even if outside circumstances prevent us from carrying them out. (5:06-5:38)
What are the righteous desires of our hearts?
When circumstances beyond our control prevent us from fulfilling righteous desires, the Lord provides these. (1:22-3:00)
What are compensating blessings?
According to the Presiding Bishop, through His atoning sacrifice, the Savior will compensate for every one of these. (10:08-11:06)
