Where do you turn in completed work?
Completed work goes in the Finished Work bin.
What is the first thing you do when entering our classroom in the morning?
Place your lunch order.
How do you contribute a comment or a question to the group?
You raise your hand and patiently wait to be called on.
What is our class plant's name?
Meatball (Baby, Dr., Lil, Mister)
How do you get help from Ms. Murphy if she is working with another student (and it is not an emergency)?
You should wait patiently for her to be done with that student. After she is done, you may raise your hand and wait patiently. If you are struggling with part of an assignment, move on to a part you can do until she is ready to meet with you.
How do I know what I should do for morning work?
Ms. Murphy usually has it written in a morning message on the ClearTouch.
What are the only appropriate reactions when being placed with a partner of group?
"Yay!", a smile, or nothing. We DO NOT do ANYTHING to make ANYONE feel bad in our classroom.
How many coins do we need to earn our next reward?
We need 25 coins.
How should you handle another student doing or saying something you don't like?
First, you should ask them to stop. Then, you should privately talk to Ms. Murphy if it continues. If it is a whole group lesson, wait until she is done teaching (unless it is an emergency).
How many lessons am I expected to have completed in MyPath each week?
I should have 3 lessons completed by the end of the week.
What should I be doing when a classmate is talking in morning meeting, whole class, or small group discussions?

We do a 30 second dance party!
What is the general expectation when you are working independently?
You should be focused and working efficiently on the task you're supposed to be doing. Trust is SO important in our classroom.
What are the expectations about eating breakfast at school?
I stop and grab it on my way to class.
I make sure I'm still working efficiently while eating.
I clean up all of my trash when I'm done.
What should you do if someone is being disruptive or distracting during a whole group lesson or independent work?
Try ignoring first. If that doesn't work, you can raise your hand and ask Ms. Murphy if you can move to a different location.
