How are the percentages of fat determined in milk? How is it possible to make skim milk AND whole milk?
When milk is processed, all of the fat is removed. The fat will be replaced based off of the milk being produced. For example, no fat is placed back into skim milk but one to two percent is placed back into low fat milk.
