Brian has been working for Jack and Jill Daycare for 2 years. He is late 4 out of 5 days a week, naps with the kids at nap time, steals the childrens pudding and has on more then one occasion forgotten a child on an outing. His supervisor fired him today with no notice. Is this legal? Why?
Yes, this is legal in both provinces. In alberta however you are not required to pay in lieu of termination notice for just cause, in Saskatchewan you must!
