What is mescaline? 

Mescaline is a natural occurring chemical found in the peyote cactus, there are some other types of synthetic drugs that act like mescaline, such as those found in MDMA.

What is the upper downer cycle? 

The upper downer cycle occurs when someone uses a primary drug and one or more secondary drug, sometimes mixing depressants and stimulants together. Because they counteract each other, people have large amounts of both in their system and can lead to dangerous effects.

What do neurotransmitters do? 

They are naturally occurring chemicals in the brain that carry messages between neurons. They carry different kind of messages and are vital for our feelings, thinking, and behavior. Levels can be in balance, too high or too low.
