Alex internationally traveled to this rural country for three months when she was 14 years old with a small group from her church, as part of a cultural exchange retreat (with a hidden agenda of spreading the gospel) for local students who had been studying the English language since first grade. Due to Alex’s lack of passion, motivation, and studying skills during her sophomore year of college as a Clinical Laboratory Science major, Alex paid another student to fraudulently take her final examination for her in this specific class she was struggling in, which ultimately led to her near expulsion from the University.
