This is the process of directing a youth to AMIkids for services when they meet eligibility criteria.
What is a referral?
A legal designation in juvenile court for children who have been abused, neglected, or are in need of services due to issues with parents/guardians, truancy, etc. It is also used in family law, child welfare, and juvenile court settings

This first phase in FFT focuses on engaging the family and reducing negativity.
