It is the name of the gate of Jannah through which only those who fasted get to enter.
What is Al-Rayyan?
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “In Paradise, there is a gate called ar-Rayyan, through which those who used to fast will enter on the Day of Resurrection, and no one but they will enter it.”
The Prophet (SAW) instructed his wife Aisha (RA) to say this Dua if she suspected which night was Laylatul Qadr (the night of power).

اللهم انك عفو تحب االعفو فاعف عني
O Allah! Verily You are most forgiving. You love to forgive, therefore forgive me?

What is "scorching heat"?
It was named this because the rewards of Ramadan burn the sins of the believers away like a scorching heat. It also fell during very hot months during the time that the months were being named.

1st 10 days: mercy
2nd 10 days: forgiveness
Last 10 days: protection from hell-fire
According to a hadith, it would take you this many years to travel the same distance that Allah swt keeps the hell-fire away from you if you fast one day.
What is 70?
The Prophet said, "Whoever fasts a day for the sake of Allah, Allah will keep him from Hell-fire at a distance covered in 70 years."
This person introduced the concept of praying Taraweeh together as a community during Ramadan.
