What is the proper way to walk down the hallway and enter the library?
Quietly.
How should I mark my place in my library book?
Use a bookmark.
If I'm in Kindergarten, Grade 1, or Grade 2, what do I do if I choose a book off the shelf but I don't want it?
Leave them on the nearest table.
How long is your book signed out for?
One week.
What should I bring to the library with me?
If you are coming just for book exchange, you don't bring anything except books you want to give back to the library.
If you are coming for a class, you must bring supplies such as pencils, erasers, rulers, pencil crayons, paper, etc.
What should I do before reading my library book?
Make sure your hands are clean.
What is a shelf marker?
A shelf marker is like a bookmark. We use them to keep our place on the shelves in case we want to put a book back in its proper place. Only Grades 3 and up use shelf markers.
If you're not finished with your book, you would need to do this.
Renew it (this means sign it out again).
Where do books go if you are done with them (2 possible places)?
In the bin in your classroom OR in the red wagon in the library.
Where should I put my books when I take them home?
In a backpack.
What do I do with books if I find them in the wrong place?
Leave it on the nearest table or put it in the wagon.
What are you not allowed to do on the LLC search computers?
Go to other sites or play games.
When you are in the LLC, where can you sit to read quietly?
At a table, on a couch, or on a bean bag.
Why shouldn't I let other people borrow my books?
The book is checked out in your name and it is your responsibility.
Do this when you are finished checking out.
Sit quietly or line up.
You will need to do this if you lose or damage a book.
Pay money for its replacement OR buy a new copy yourself to replace the LLC's copy.

What can you use the search computers for?
Searching for books.
