How do I get a Food Locker?

JBU has assigned lockers please contact Miss Sheena.

ISB has assigned lockers please contact Jazmin. 

Anything moldy or that produces any smell will be thrown out each Sunday.

Are youth allowed to recycle ?

Unfortunately, youth are not allowed to go through trash nor store recyclables in property.

What is the Pulse for Good Kiosk?

We have a new form of survey through San Diego housing commission. Everyone that goes into the office please make sure you fill out the survey. It is next to the front of the entry door. This will ensure that the program can continue to do a great job serving our TAY.

Are what time are the dorms closed?

11 am. You have a 15-minute grace period. ISB youth in their dorms at 11:15 am will be reported to a case manager for a write-up!

What time is food served?

Breakfast 8:30 am to 10 am

Lunch 

12:30 pm to 2:00pm

Who does any repairs e.g fix the light, toilet or broken window?

What time is curfew?

11:00 pm

Curfew is everyday .

Curfew is expected even during holidays.

You can earn one curfew pass ask your Case Managers about the incentive program.

Monday, February 17th Presidents Day staff will be limited.

Who does curfew report every night ? 

Jazmin and Antwonne! (Please make sure you are on your beds at 11 if you are in the bathroom you might not get counted)

When do they remove all clothing from the laundry Room ?

Saturdays at 11 am

Are you allowed to take food outside of the cafeteria? 

Yes you are ! 


However if you take food inside the dorms it will result in a write up. 

This includes report by security if caught in Camera.

Who drives you to DMV, Probation Appointments, or the Doctor?

Sammy and Jazmin (Please give your case managers time for driving requests as not all times are available and must at least take 24 hours)

What is United Voices?

United Voices is a youth-led council that meet to talk about programs within the building and are brought up to program managers attention. More info to come.

What time are the gym and rec room open?

Everyday from 5-10pm Clients must clean every-night.

Please ensure that there is no food. If this pattern continues the rec room will be closed by end of month.

What are the computer lab rules?

The computer lab is for productivity-purposes only.

No food or drinks allowed.

No inappropriate behavior.

What to do if you are sick?

If someone is feeling sick or experiencing flu-like symptoms, they should inform program staff immediately.  
- Anyone showing symptoms is required to wear a mask. If they need a mask, they can request one from staff.  
- Everyone should keep their spaces clean, wash their hands frequently, and use hand sanitizer to help prevent the spread of illness.
