During Hijrah, Muhammad PBUH passed by that area in the 9th year of Hijrah, some of the sahabah saw that area and filled their jugs with the water they saw there. When the Prophet saw them doing that, he said throw away the water. Whenever you pass by a city that was punished by Allah, fear that you may go through exactly what they went through
