The Katipunan, also known as KKK stands for Kataas-taasan, Kagalang-galangang Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan. It is a revolutionary group led and founded by Andres Bonifacio, Teodoro Plata, and Ladislaw Diwa on July 7, 1892.

The KKK was a secret organization who worked against the Spaniards (back then, the Philippines was colonized by Spain) and had plenty of secret yet illegal meetings, as well as many revolts against the Spaniards.
