According to the National Alliance to End Homelessness, in January 2018 - 552,830 people experienced homelessness on a single night. Meaning, they slept outside, in an emergency shelter, or in a transitional housing program. The state of America's homelessness is marginally better than those in developing countries. However, the state of homelessness is something that APD is proud to dedicate resources, time, and commitment to helping alleviate and end poverty in America for the LGBT community as well as their families.

We have tailored a program called C.A.L.L.A Ladies - Cultured, Astute, Loving, Leading, and Academic Ladies which will provide the necessary lessons on etiquette, self-esteem and life skills. This program serves as the foundation for young women to develop the essential skills to achieve success in daily relationships, school and work.
