asking questions that shift away from the why and focusing on strengths, resources and future outcomes
What is a solution focused question?
When inputting family interactions into IMPACT a caseworker must document all face-to-face contacts or attempts by this deadline.
What is same day as the contact?
This is the overarching focus shift, moving away from finding perpetrators to analyzing two specific family traits to ensure children are protected.
What are family strengths and safety threats/vulnerabilities?
During the 0-5 day assessment, the mother, father, children, grandparents (who live outside of the home), a neighbor, and a family friend are present and participate in the assessment.
