The animal that dove down to bring soil up to the woman.
What is the muskrat?
Not pewter. According to John Proctor, a waste of money!
What are golden candlesticks?
A good example of this would be "I reached into the kitchen cabinet to grab some cinnamon for my cookies. I spilled it all over the floor, and had to sweep it up."
What is first-person POV?
John Proctor does not see the "light of God" in Reverend Parris.

What is the Sky-World?

Led by Senator Joseph McCarthy, it was characterized by reckless, unsubstantiated accusations of disloyalty and subversion, particularly of alleged communist influence in American institutions.
What is McCarthyism?
A solitary speech in which a character is speaking to themselves.
