Explain the events of Lexington and Concord.
British had heard of military supplies being held in Concord, about 20 miles from Boston. The British march there and get stopped in Lexington where the first shots of the war are. No one knowns who fired first. They eventually get to Concord, do not find any supplies, and are forced to retreat.
