Oh no, it's Christmas Eve and we just got two major escalations! Trade is completely down and Transfer Money is completely down.
Trade is impacting about 5k people a day, Transfer Money is impacting about 15k people a day.

Transfer Money. In this case, although trade issues are usually higher severity than transfer money issues, the transfer money issue is so much higher volume across so many more critical use cases, and especially during the holidays, compared to being unable to trade.

We have just received two major escalations at the same time! All of digidocs is down including the fact sheets and the BRE documents and the Active Portfolios business can't publish their quarterly updates until this is fixed. Meanwhile, the display of available trading dollars is down on Trade.
Which incident should we prioritize?
The fact sheets - the impact volume is roughly the same, but the trade issue isn't a hard stop and trading dollars can be seen on many other pages or at least called over the phone.
The broken fact sheets has both the client impact and the internal business impact with WMS which is something we have to take into serious consideration.

We just received two major incidents at the same time! On Trade, clients are being shown real time quote data from 5 hours ago, every time. This is causing clients to make misinformed trades, leading to trade corrections.
Meanwhile, on Transfer Money, any transfers involving a brokerage account completely stopped working.

Trade is higher priority here. Although the TM impact is way higher volume, Trade issues almost always take priority because of legal risk.

FSB - the two incidents are basically equal in volume, but there are a lot more use cases or reasons someone needs to make a bank transfer urgently, than there are use cases to need to use Bill Pay urgently.

Our CIO's office reported an issue that he needs to cancel a $25,000 transfer before Tax Day, but a bug on our page is disabling the cancel button. His admin is asking us urgently to please prioritize fixing this.
Meanwhile, digital ops just reported to us that trading is completely broken for all options AND mutual funds trading because of a front-end issue, and is urging us to make this top priority.

In this case, the CIO's transfer can still be done over the phone so the best course is to ask the admin to please ask the CIO to cancel this transfer over the phone to ensure the need is met, and then I would just explain that we have this sensitive and way higher volume trading issue that we have to focus on first and then we'll look at a long term fix for the transfer issue.
