Athens promised them that for their money, Athens would take care of trade and they would have military advantages. Sparta did not join. Later, Athens used monkey to rebuild it's city, and the city-states did not like it. Some of the turned to Sparta, which formed another league.

The theater could hold a lot of people, and it was shaped in a semi-circle. The plays were either comedy(which usually made fun of politics), or tragedy(a story about someone, sort of like an Epic Poem, someone usually dies).
