They could have run north and left Rome and become free but they decided to stay in Rome and keep attacking people. This allowed the Roman army to corner them
Pompey- after Crassus died, he convinced the Senate to fire Caesar and send him back to Rome

Caesar's adopted son, his best friend. The Senate convinced him to help them stab Caesar

Her fashion, how smart she was, and the fact that she dated Caesar and Mark Anthony. (If you said one of these, you got it right!)

When one ruler was chosen to rule Rome during emergencies. No one could overrule him

He returned with his army, attacked Rome, and forced the Senate to declare him dictator.

He was stabbed 23 times by members of the Senate

A poisonous snake. She had one brought to her so that the Romans would not be able to capture her. We still don't know where her body is buried
