the pigs discover whisky and drink it for the first time.  They get very drunk and the next day, rumors spread that Napoleon was dying(actually suffering a hangover).  Shortly afterwards, the commandments are changed to say "No animal shall drink alcohol to excess."

The pigs are educated early, live in the house, and now have right of way when they cross paths with other animals(the other animal must always yield to the pig).   The animals are tired and overworked and do not appreciate the new social order.

The sheep are trained to say "four legs good, two legs bad" whenever Snowball is talking to reduce his power.  The sheep do this together without thinking.

What happens to Boxer towards the end of chapter 9?  How do the animals react?

He injures his hoof and starts to feel weak and can't produce.  The pigs say he's being sent to a hospital but one animal says the truck that picked up Boxer had "slaughter" on the side of it.  The pigs say that it was a used van, but most of the animals are depressed and upset by Boxer being sent away instead of being able to retire on Animal Farm.

Napoleon is commended for how well the workers behave on Animal Farm, and he says "you have your lower classes to deal with, as we have our lower classes to deal with."  He announces that the word Comrade is banned, the flag and memorial for Old Major have changed, and that the farm will now be called Manor Farm again.  He's erased the rebellion in almost every way.
