Why shouldn't you mention "vivid imagery" in your writing?
Because that's redundant. Instead, you should identify the type of imagery (ex. natural, mechanical, anatomical, domestic, etc.)
What's the difference between parody, satire, and wordplay?
Parody is playful imitation. Satire is scathing criticism through humor. Wordplay that relies on homonyms, homophones, or rhymes.

Liminal space = The murky middle of the dichotomy (neither living nor dead, both good and evil)
How does one recognize refrain, and how is it similar/different from anaphora?
Anaphora = repetition of first part of phrase
Refrain = a repeated line or phrase that returns again and again exactly the same, interspersed between different "verse" stanzas

How should we change this sentence from a student essay:
When Hamlet delays killing Claudius at prayer, the reader is held in suspense. As the reader watches Hamlet's journey, they come to understand just how maladjusted he is.
We should shift the focus away from the reader, to what the author is creating instead.
Ex. Shakespeare emphasizes the value of revenge as something that comes from both physical and metaphysical punishment. Hamlet only wishes to slay his uncle if he can also send him to hell, allowing Shakespeare to make clear that ending an evil life is not complete without heaven's righteous judgement.
