"Can I still study abroad with a GPA that doesn't meet the requirement"
It's possible! If their GPA is slightly lower than the requirement encourage them to reach out to API, given the GPA requirement fits your university. If API says they should apply, let them know they will have to submit an additional letter explaining their lower than required GPA.
The way you can use financial aid to pay for an API program
Students that recieve finacial aid must work with their financial aid office to determine the amount of aid they will receive. In order for API to delay their payment they must fill out a FAVF and return in to their API Program Coordinator.
