The betrayal of Judas was God's plan for forgiving all of our sins. Jesus loved all of his disciples, and he loves each one of us. That's why he was willing to die for our sins.
One kind of fruit that we can bear by staying connected to Jesus.
Children might remember the fruit of the Spirit they learned: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control. Can they think of anything else?
Jesus promised to send this to the disciples after he left them.
The Holy Spirit
Jesus promised the Holy Spirit, which would come after he left, to turn disciples' sorrow into joy.
