the Market Revolution (1800–1860) transformed an agrarian subsistence economy into a commercial, interconnected market system through transportation (canals, railroads) and early manufacturing.
The 2nd Industrial Revolution (1870–1914) massive technological, steel, oil, and electrification advances, driving mass production and rapid urbanization (U.S. jumped 5th to 1st in industry)
