An emergency response to a specific situation such as an immediate threat or armed intruder requiring all persons to take shelter in a secure location within the building.

What is a "wrongdoing"?
Employee conduct that fails to promote a welcoming, caring, respectful and safe learning and work environment that is free from discrimination, harassment or bullying will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.

Must be both corrective and supportive; reflect the range of interventions and responses including: i. universal interventions; ii. targeted classroom and school interventions; and iii. intensive individualized supports; include opportunities for students to learn and make amends; focus on improving behaviour; and help students be successful at school.

This document must be shared with staff, reviewed and updated annually, and includes provisions for those who are unable to vacate the building quickly, the safe care of students following an evacuation, and communication of the evacuation plan to staff, volunteers and other guests in the building.
