This easter egg was an unintentional joke made by Nintendo when first recording the voice acting for Super Mario 64. It originally meant something else entirely, but due to Mario's italian accent, it became a long running meme.

This franchise is often the one Nintendo is known for aside from Mario, having hit it's 25th anniversary as of 2022. It's name was inspired from the concept name it was originally supposed to have which was having the idea of a monster in one's mere pocket.
Pokemon
This character made his debut appearance in nintendo's spin off game, Diddy kong racing as a special unlockable after completing certain requirements. He is heavily known as the only animal who not only has a rather 'vast' vocabulary, but also has a very bad addiction to alcohol and a greedy money problem.

This secret was originally discovered in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Rumour has it that if you plant a certain amount of money in a hole, this secret will occur and triple the amount of money you had originally gave up.

This easter egg was recently discovered in Deltarune chapter 2, if you walk all the way to the end of the hall in the mansion basement, this secret will be grinning at you for a split second before disappearing.
Creepy grin face
This franchise is a thalassophobia inducing survival game where you play in first person POV as the solo survivor after crashing on an alien planet. This game also later released a DLC that was featured in an arctic setting on the same planet.
Subnautica
This character was once a factory worker for the famous 'Playtime co' who's job was to assist in packaging toys. Rumours have it that he may actually be the soul contained with the Seasame street reject, huggy wuggy.

Ghost girl - Pokemon XY
This easter egg can only be found in one specific stage in splatoon 1 and struck quite a bit of controversy due to the sound being strangely familiar to the skyward sword boss, koloktos. When the creators were asked about it, they had no idea about it at the time and believed that those who were working in the audio department decided to do it as a prank.
The Laughing Statues
This franchise first started back in 2012, It is a Rpg where you have access to 4 different characters who each have different backstories and can access to various different job classes after defeating their bosses in short side quests. This game franchise is also heavily known for it's kickass music, incredible graphics, and above all, storytelling which in turn made it win the Future game award in 2012, The excellence award in 2013, and gamestop's 3DS game of the year award in 2014.
Bravely Default
This character is the singing siren known for attracting players with it's song. It will try to single out your character if played in multiplayer before attacking you. It's only weakness is a crucifix.

Bierce - Dark deception
This FNAF easter egg is considered one of the most hardest to get in the entire franchise and is only available in the 'Curse of Dreadbear' DLC. Currently Jonnyblox and Dawko are the only youtubers who have managed to unlock this. In order to unlock it, you must play through one of the various minigames and win it, have access to three clown posters, and shoot a dart right in each.
