Fourth, that on the Sabbath, we spend time in worship.
Fifth, that we love & honor our father & mother.
Why must the Redeemer be truly human?
That he may perfectly obey the law & suffer for the punishment of sin.

Receiving & resting on Him alone for salvation as He has offered to us in the Gospel.
What do we believe about the Holy Spirit?
That he is God, triune with the Father & the Son.

What is -
God created us male & female in His own image
To glorify Him
What does God require in the 6th, 7th, & 8th commandment?
Sixth - we do not hate or hurt our neighbor.
Seventh - we live purely & faithfully
Eighth - that we do not take without permission what is not ours

So that he can be perfect & effective.

Our declared righteousness before God

The Holy Spirit convicts us of our sin.

Ninth that we do not lie or deceive.
Tenth that we are content, not envying anyone.
What does Christ's death redeem?
EVERYTHING.

Our gradual, growing righteousness

Are all people saved through Christ?
No, only those who are elected by God & united to Christ in faith.
Since we are redeemed by grace alone through Christ alone, must we still do good works & obey God's Word?
