Because they are the foundation for visual art. The are essential for you to know and learn how to use so you have the tools needed for making art. You can build upon this knowledge and progress to more advanced projects!

Lockdown: Emergency outside of the school. Need to shelter in place. Stay calm, listen to the teacher's directions: Be silent/hide. Teacher will ensure that door is locked.
Intruder: Dangerous outsider has entered the building and could be a threat. Stay calm, listen to the teacher's directions: RUN, HIDE, FIGHT
