Art Room Responsibility
This item must be brought to class every day and must be a standard wooden one—not mechanical or a pen.

All assignments must be turned in either here or on Canvas—never handed directly to the teacher.

Leaving your work unlabeled and out on a desk may result in this consequence.
What is work or project thrown in the garbage.
Each day you should begin class by doing this.
What is getting your supplies for class out and doing bell work.
Even if you didn’t make a large mess, you're still responsible for doing this before you leave class.
What is cleaning your area (including tables, supplies, trash, and floor)?
Where are you not allowed to go in the art room unless given permission from Mrs Sarlo.
What is all of the closets and behind Mrs. Sarlo's desk.
This should be written on every assignment you turn in.
What are your first name, last name, and period?
What is the number one thing I will ask when it comes to completing a project.

Who is responsible for making sure you are on task and completing your projects and assignments?

When going to the bathroom I should always do these three things.
What is ask Mrs Sarlo, sign out on the sign out sheet, and take the pass.
Respecting the studio includes taking care of all materials and doing this after every project.
What is cleaning your workspace and returning supplies properly?
This is where you store your completed projects unless told otherwise.
What is your folder or shelf in the storage room?
If you need supplies such as a pencil, markers, or blank piece of paper, how should you go about getting them?
What is go get them off the supply shelf when instruction is finished.
If you are painting or using messing supplies in the art room, what should you do with your computer?
What is not get it out, keep it put away.
These areas should be checked and tidied daily BEFORE leaving the art room.

Projects around the art room, on the drying rack, and in the storage closet are to be this.

You should never hand your assignment directly to this person.

All supplies should be returned here when you are finished with them, and always at the end of class.

Besides respecting each other, students are expected to show respect for these three other things in the art room.
