What is a calm down corner, and how do we use it?
The calm-down corner is a safe space where students can go to self-regulate, process big emotions, and re-focus or settle before returning to learning.
We should not be playing in that space, we should use it when we need it, and return to learning when we no longer need the space.
At the end of class how will you know when to line up?
Ms. Miller will call your table when you are ready to line up.
