when you are done with your brush, should you put it back in the clean brushes?

NO!  if you are in charge of cleaning brushes, you need to properly get all the paint out of brush by running it under the water and moving bristles with your fingers.  you then tap it off on the sink to get excess water vout before putting it back in the clean brush area.
