As long as the gills are moist, the crawfish can pull oxygen from the air and/or they can get oxygen from moist air.

Stalk and pounce on prey. They hunt.

Nervous system is at the bottom of the body for maximum protection

The antennules and antennae sense touch. Also there aretiny bristles all over it's body.

There is an opening called a sphericle in their body that allows air into their "book lungs", almost like gills.
