All cleaning supplies must be stored in this manner

In the provided clear container on top of a shelf (out of reach)

100

Towels can be found in the bucket just inside the downstairs door. This is what you should do with wet towels after they have been used.

Hang them on the hooks next to Rebecca's office. Do NOT leave them on the playground.

100

If you need supplies for your classroom, or notice something is running low, do this

Fill out the supply purchase request form (found in your classroom binder) and leave it in the file folder labeled "purchase requests" outside of my office

100

Do this each morning as your students arrive to the classroom

Check them in. Or it can be done as an opening activity for your class (ex. "Who is here today?")

To check in a student, simply tap their name.

If the parents have contacted to you to let you know when and why their child is absent, please mark them absent and give the reason.

This is how you get reimbursed for supplies you purchased on your own

Turn in the receipt for your purchase to the folder labeled "reimbursement requests" located outside of my office.

This is what you must do if a child has a minor injury at school.

Complete an injury report on Brightwheel. Include a photo if necessary.

200

When you need a substitute, do this first

Send a message to the group chat and see if anyone is available.

If no one is able to cover for you, start contacting people on our sub list. In emergency situations where a sub cannot be found, we will ask our floater to cover the class.

Extra outlet covers can be found here

Downstairs: Brown cabinet

Upstairs: Closet next to girl's bathroom

This rule involves the sandbox sand and the toys within it

Sand and toys should be kept in the sandbox. Do not allow children to dump sand in other parts of the playground.

Checks are written on this day each week.

Monday. I will leave checks for substituting or supply reimbursements in and envelope with your name on it tacked to the bulletin board outside your room.

300

Make sure at least one photo of each child in your class is posted to Brightwheel this many times per week

1 time per week - at least!

300

Remember to do this whenever you substitute or cover a coworker's class.

Fill out the substitute form located in the binder on the brown cabinet.

How personal belongings should be stored

In a cabinet, or up high. Water bottles, coke bottles, etc. should also be stored in a plastic bin. Cell phones should be kept out of reach of children

400

These are the 2 main rules about the dump trucks.

1. Dump trucks should not be used on the playscape. 2. They must be returned to the playhouse at the end of each playground time.

400

This is where you can find extra paint or other school supplies to restock what is in your classroom.

The cabinets in the music room. There are craft supplies, pencils, crayons, folders, etc. Always check here first before requesting a purchase.

400

The alert messaging function does this

Sends a text message to the parents. This is a great tool for when you need to ask a parent an urgent question or let them know something right away (ex. their child is running fever).

If you run out of PTO days, this will happen

Your monthly pay will be decreased by $55 per day missed that month.

If it is May and you no longer have PTO days, you must write a personal check to your substitute for $55.

Up to 1/2 of unused PTO days at the end of the year can be rolled over to the next year or paid back to the employee at the rate of $55 per day.
