Juliette Gordon Low, a Deaf woman, was the founder of this famous organization is the US. I guarantee you know who they are and have bought something from them in public, or in your neighborhood.

CONNOR
The longest Deaf reoccurring role was on this childhood television show which still airs to this day. Linda Bove played a Deaf librarian from 1971 - 2002. She introduced many hearing and deaf children to ASL and the Deaf community.
SESAME STREET
Each person had a rough time with certain signs and categories. For Connor, bowl related signs were a struggle. These two in particular proved to be the hardest to learn.
