effectively supports learning in areas such as bible stories, Christian history and practice, spiritual formation, character development and service to neighbors. The intent  is to bring the children into a deeper understanding of faith and relationship with God and neighbor. Lessons are Biblically-based (stories and scripture teaching virtues of love, acceptance, good character, service and grace) not doctrine-based (salvation, trinity, so forth) which can be divisive amongst varying denominations.

Interesting, engaging, and educational activities in the subject of reading will be provided for children on a daily basis through iStation assessments and games, and group literacy activities in the five core areas of reading: phonics, vocabulary, phonemic awareness, fluency, and comprehension.

is the time for members to introduce the weekly theme to participants, which will correlate with the 5 Elements of Social and Emotional Learning provided by CASEL; this time should be exciting and full of energy as we want them to fully immerse themselves in it. is a brief lesson that takes a deeper dive into the weekly theme, these lessons will be provided weekly. Lessons can be shared with families to implement at home.

Participants will have the opportunity to work in small groups with a PT member on their homework assignments or focusing on a specific academic area as determined by the parent/teacher. If a child has no homework, provide a Fun Ed activity. This can be reading a book individually or in groups, writing poems, alphabet flash cards, logic puzzles, math flash cards, spelling games, and so forth.
