What is the difference between blessings of Covenant Keeping Children and Non Covenant keeping Children of God?

Covenant: Bound to Him, much closer relationship than before, He never tires in His efforts to help us, we will never exhaust His merciful patience with us, we will have a special place in God's heart.

Why do we need a Covenant relationship with God? 

Emily Belle Freeman: "It's not the course alone that will exalt us; it's the companion -The Savior. And this is the why of the covenant relationship." Covenant relationships allow us to not just "do" the right thing but to "become" someone who "chooses" the right thing.
