An event where campers can perform in front of the rest of camp.
What is Camper Campfires
A movie night where campers can pick a movie to watch at camp and enjoy some fun snacks and drinks.
What is AstroPlex?
A night event where campers have the opportunity to learn about stars or other celestial things or look through telescopes.
What is Space Night?
A night activity where campers get to choose what they would like to do that evening.
What is Elective Night?
This is something campers and staff receive after being at camp for 5 summers.
What is a 5 year jacket?
An all-camp night event in which counselors and campers dress up and can dance, play games, eat snacks, and other fun and silly things.
What is AstroParty?
A themed night in which campers gamble and participate in various challenges/quests to win chips.
What is Casino?
A night event where campers can play themed games or immerse themselves in a storyline.
What is AstroCon?
This event happens on the first night and gives staff members a chance to be present and be silly in front of the campers.
What is Opening Campfire?
An optional activity where a group leaves the dorms when they are not supposed to in order to do something special.
What is a sneakout?
An extravaganza where campers get to eat ice cream while watching camper campfire, then watch a slideshow.
What is Final Night?
A special night time event only for the oldest campers on camp that occur after the rest of camp has fallen asleep.
What is C extended hours?
A themed faire-like event that occurs near the end of the week where campers dress up in old-timey garb and interact with different booths and characters.
What is the Renisance Faire?
This is a two week that is based off of a theme in which campers and counselors dress up in costumes, can play games, get married, and end the night with dancing.
What is Carnival
A morning or afternoon activity where campers attend a regularly scheduled program.
What are classes?
Pre-determined classes that campers attend with their cabin groups.
What are core activities?
An optional activity available for campers where they have a chance to spend the night at an off-camp site.
What is Adventure Overnight?
This occurs on the first day in the same time slot as Add/Drop where groups go together to briefly see and participate in some of AstroCamp's most popular classes.
What is AstroCamp's Greatest Hit Sampler?
An event in which cabin groups work together to create a crest and choose a theme song to present to camp.
What is Battle of the Cabins?
A creature who checks all of the kids' dorms and tables to ensure they meet certain standards of cleanliness.
What is the Clean Camp Creature?
An afternoon in which the campers are tricked into believing that they will be assisting maintenance, when in reality, they will have free time.
What is "Camp Clean Up"?
This is a night event where the oldest campers put together an event for the rest of camp as a final celebration on the last night.
